For a brewery, winning an award is a validation of all of the care and skill put into your product. It’s always a good thing. However, some awards are just a tad bit more prestigious and one named after Michael Jackson (this one, not that one) is just such an award. The Brits amuse themselves at their Great British Beer Festival by bringing in some of those upstarts from the colonies. The best of these they bless as the Michael Jackson Award winner. Coming in as the second best beer of those sent to the 2014 GBBF was local favorite Jack’s Abby with their barrel-aged Framinghammer ! Congratulations to the guys over there on a great showing!
