30 Liter Plastic Fermenter

Description

Ruggedly constructed from thick HDPE #2 (same as the Fermentation Pails), this fermenter is the solution to your larger batch fermentations. It has handles for convenience (untested under load) and a molded port on the bottom that can mate with 1/2″ MPT (Male Pipe-thread Tapered) steel hardware. You just have to drill out the port to use it. The lid screws on but is rather unweildy to handle and it seems tricky to get a good, airtight fit. It would need to be drilled out to accept a bung or drilled and grommited to accept an airlock.
