Description
Weyermann® CARAFA® SPECIAL II malt contributes deeper aroma of dark beers as well as beer color when used as 1 – 5% of a grist. This unique, de-husked roasted barley malt adds aroma, color and body without very low astringent characteristics.

Roughly analogous to Chocolate malt in terms of color and flavor contributions.
