Description

Bred in 1934 in England from a Canterbury Golding plant, Northern Brewer is now grown in England, Germany and the US. Its bittering value is similar to Nugget but with more specific wood aromas. Northern Brewer is tolerant to downy mildew and has good pickability of medium size, dense cones.

Known for medium intensity, pine and mint characteristics.
