Description
A robust ale yeast able to tolerate high alcohol conditions up to 11.5% v/v. Used to produce a wide range of beer styles including Belgian wheat and Trappist beers. General purpose ale yeast with neutral flavor profiles. Its low attenuation gives beers with a very good length on the palate. Particularly recommended for specialty ales and trappist type beers. Yeast with a good sedimentation: forms no clumps but a powdery haze when resuspended in the beer. AKA Edme yeast strain. Fermentis
