Description
Bred by the American Dwarf Hop Association and released in 2003, Summit is the first dwarf hop to be bred for production in the United States. It has excellent storage stability, is resistant to powdery mildew, and can be grown on high and low trellis systems. Summit is mainly utilized as a bittering hop, but does have some earthy aromatic characteristics, with subtle hints of citrus.
Known for distinct spice, earthy, onion, garlic and citrus (pink grapefruit, orange and tangerine) tones.
